Hello, I’m Chelsea Thomas-Hamblin, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and qualified midwife based in Bradford on Avon, near the beautiful City of Bath. With over 12 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood - primarily within the UK, alongside experience working in New Zealand and insight into maternity services in Norway and the Philippines - I offer calm, compassionate, and evidence-based support tailored entirely to you, your baby and family as a whole.

For some people, feeding can feel confusing and emotional - whether you’re dealing with pain, low supply worries, an unsettled baby, or simply wondering if you’re “doing it right.” Every family’s journey is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I work with you to understand what’s happening, provide clear guidance, and create a plan that feels realistic, achievable, and supportive.

Alongside my midwifery background, I hold a First Class Honours degree in Nutrition, allowing me to take a more holistic view of both maternal and infant wellbeing. I support families with breastfeeding, expressing, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and transitions such as returning to work - always with a focus on helping you feel confident and reassured in your decisions.

My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and practical. I don’t just give advice, I work alongside you to find what works, so you can move forward feeling calm, confident, and supported.
