Focused Support Consultation

Infant feeding changes quickly, and what worked last week may suddenly feel challenging again. Follow-up support gives you space to revisit concerns, build on progress, and adjust your feeding plan as your baby grows and their needs evolve.

These sessions can be used after a previous consultation or booked independently if you would like support with a specific feeding concern. Families often find them helpful for things such as:

  • changes in feeding behaviour or weight gain

  • milk supply questions (low, fluctuating, or oversupply)

  • pumping plans and return-to-work preparation

  • weaning, mixed feeding, or bottle transitions

  • recurrent pain, mastitis, or latch challenges

  • or simply wanting someone to check in and make sure things are on track

Focused support session is flexible and can be booked as a single session when you need it, or as part of a support package if you’d like ongoing guidance during a period of transition.

Each session includes a review of progress, updated information or techniques, and an individualised plan moving forward. Where appropriate, adjustment of milk-supply strategies, review latch or positioning, or explore practical ways to support your feeding goals as life and routines shift.

You’ll receive evidence-based, realistic advice, alongside the emotional support that can make a big difference during an often demanding period of parenthood. My aim is to help feeding feel easier, more comfortable, and more sustainable for you and your baby over time.
