Postnatal Consultation
Those first days and weeks with a new baby can feel overwhelming, especially if feeding is painful, stressful or not going as you had hoped. This postnatal consultation offers calm, evidence-based breastfeeding support tailored to both you and your baby, helping you feel more confident, supported and reassured in your feeding journey.
As an experienced Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I provide specialist infant feeding support across Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Frome and the surrounding Wiltshire and Somerset areas, both in the comfort of your home and virtually.
Together, we will take a holistic look at your feeding journey so far, including your birth experience, your feeding goals and any challenges you may be facing. My approach is always compassionate, non-judgemental and individualised, recognising that every parent and baby relationship is unique.
A full feeding assessment allows us to explore what may be contributing to feeding difficulties, whilst creating a realistic and supportive plan that protects your wellbeing, supports your feeding goals and helps your baby feed comfortably and effectively.
Whether you are looking for reassurance, practical feeding support or more specialist lactation guidance, my aim is to help you feel calm, informed and supported every step of the way.
